(THE AUSSIE HEALTHCARE SECTOR IS ONE TO WATCH)
June 25, 2025
Hello everyone
Ponder for a moment. What sector has been sitting quietly on the ASX?
You would be right if you said Healthcare.
UBS confirms that healthcare stocks are the cheapest they have been in 10 years.
This follows three years of earnings downgrades.
UBS now believes that healthcare offers the best EPS growth of all ASX sectors, with an expected increment of almost 20% in the 2025-26 year.
The S&P/ASX 200 healthcare index has fallen 5% over the past 12 months and is down 7% year to date.
In contrast, the broader ASX200 index looks to be finishing the year around 9% higher.
The investment bank has seen investor sentiment toward healthcare cool over the past year, with some marked deterioration seen across many stocks.
Cochlear (ASX: COH) is one stock that has seen investor apathy build over the last year. UBS has upgraded Cochlear to a ‘buy’ for the first time since 2011.
ResMed (ASX: RMD) and Telix Pharmaceuticals (ASX: TLX) are also favourites of the investment bank.

Liana – the safety net for holders of Bitcoin
For Bitcoin holders worried about losing access to their wallets, many are turning to Liana. The Safety Net Recovery Service gives users a backup plan without giving up self-custody.
You can think of it like an insurance policy for your wallet. While banks aren’t offering this yet, Liana has partnered with regulated custodians who will. The model isn’t fully custodial – users still manage their funds – but it offers a last resort. After a time lock, the service can step in and help restore access to funds, assuming you’ve subscribed.
This kind of safety is critical for high-net-worth Bitcoiners who don’t want a single point of failure. Whether it’s fire, theft, or forgotten seed phrases, disaster scenarios are real.
This is a good way to stop sleepless nights for Bitcoiners.
