When John identifies a strategic exit point, he will send you an alert with specific trade information as to what security to sell, when to sell it, and at what price. Most often, it will be to TAKE PROFITS, but, on rare occasions, it will be to exercise a STOP LOSS at a predetermined price to adhere to strict risk management discipline.

Tech Alert – Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) – TAKE PROFITS
SELL Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) November 2025 $145-$150 in-the-money vertical BULL CALL spread at $4.60
Closing Trade
10-24-2025
expiration date: November 21, 2025
Portfolio weighting: 10%
Number of Contracts = 24 contracts
The Nasdaq is slowly grinding up, and PLTR is in the green this morning by around 2.5%.
The growth stocks and the index as a whole are responding less and less to good news like the lower CPI expectations and more rate cuts.
It is getting a little harder to move up tech stocks, and on positive news today, PLTR would usually be up over 4 or possibly 6%.
With the earnings around the corner and the high volatility that comes with it, I will cut this trade short right now and reel in the profits while they are still on the table.
Here are the specific trades you need to exit this position:
Sell to Close 24 November 2025 (PLTR) $145 calls at……….…$42.60
Buy to Close 24 November 2025 (PLTR) $150 calls at………….$38.00
Net Proceeds:……………………..…….………..…………………………..$4.60
Profit: $4.60 – $4.10 = $.50
(24 X 100 X $.50) = $1,200 or 12.20%

If you are uncertain about how to execute a bear put options spread, please watch my training video by clicking here.
The best execution can be had by placing your bid for the entire spread in the middle market and waiting for the market to come to you. The difference between the bid and the offer on these deep-in-the-money spread trades can be enormous.
Don’t execute the legs individually or you will end up losing much of your profit. Spread pricing can be very volatile on expiration months farther out.
Keep in mind that these are ballpark prices at best. After the alerts go out, prices can be all over the map.
